Why This Change Was Necessary

I owe you a direct explanation—not
another vague “temporarily unavailable” notice.

Keeping LEAP available has become a
relentless struggle against repeated manufacturing interruptions and outside
interference. 

The production facility we used for 12 years first went bankrupt, next we lost production due to 2 hurricanes, and then our next contract manufacturer canceled scheduled production. Not only is our product very complex to make, but we are adamant about the quality of the final product. 

Efforts to establish
replacement production brought further setbacks. These disruptions have cost us
dearly—and, more importantly, have interrupted access for the people we are
here to serve.

Frankly, I am tired of fighting one
obstacle after another just to get these formulations into your hands.

I have also grown deeply frustrated
with a "health industry" that places too much value on the
continuing business of illness and too little on helping people build lasting
health, strength, and independence. 

That is not the future I have spent years
working toward.

I am not walking away from LEAP. I am
changing how we move forward.

Through LEAP-Mission, we are working
to take greater control of production, reduce our dependence on outside
companies, and build a direct relationship with the people who value this work.

This move is about protecting the
continuity of that work and putting our members—not outside commercial
interests—at the center of it.
