About Martin Munzer
Martin Munzer did not set out to build a supplement company.
He set out to challenge a fundamental assumption about human nutrition.
With a background spanning engineering, molecular diagnostics, and genetics, Martin has spent decades working at the intersection of science and human performance. As President and CEO of CyGene Laboratories, a NASDAQ-traded company, he helped pioneer advances in DNA and RNA analysis, predictive genetics, and nutrigenomics—the study of how nutrition influences genetic expression.
Under his leadership, CyGene established a CLIA-certified molecular diagnostics laboratory, developed numerous biotech patents, and gained international recognition. Martin has presented at institutions including the NIH, FDA, German Red Cross, and the Russian Academy of Sciences. Bloomberg News identified him as an expert in pharmacogenomics and personalized medicine. He also contributed to efforts influencing the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark decision rejecting human gene patents.
But through this work, Martin recognized a deeper problem.
Despite major advances in medicine and genetics, one thing remained largely unchanged—the way we fuel the human body.
Martin identified a fundamental inefficiency: traditional protein nutrition requires the body to break down complex structures before it can access the amino acids it actually uses.
That insight became the foundation for a different approach.
In 2013, he introduced LEAP2BFit®—not as another supplement, but as a re-engineered nutritional system built on precisely formulated amino acid profiles designed for maximum bioavailability and functional impact.
Over the past 14 years, LEAP2BFit® has helped individuals facing weakness, injury, and age-related decline regain strength, mobility, and independence. LEAP2Excel® followed, building on the same principles with a 9-year track record, alongside additional formulations now preparing for release.
Rather than simplifying formulations for mass production, Martin chose a more difficult path—one defined by precision, complexity, and an unwillingness to compromise. Today, LEAPxx® products reflect that philosophy, integrating dozens of highly bioactive and bioavailable ingredients designed to work in synergy.
That path has not come without resistance.
At one point, Martin while CEO of CyGene Labs. was subjected to a nine-year forensic audit of a public company—initiated by industry adversaries seeking to discredit his work. After nearly a decade of scrutiny, fully documented in public SEC filings, the only issue identified was a technical difference in how accrued compensation was reported, with no impact on financial results.
The work held up under the highest level of scrutiny.
From manufacturing challenges at LEAPxx to repeated cyberattacks and operational disruptions, the journey has tested the resilience of the company at every stage. Yet each challenge has only strengthened the same conviction:
to continue building solutions that work—even when they challenge established systems.
To carry that work forward without compromise, Martin founded the LEAP-Mission Private Member Association—a community for individuals seeking access to advanced formulations, ongoing innovation, and a different approach to health and performance.
His work today is not driven by trends or industry expectations.
It is driven by a singular conviction:
that the body can be supported more precisely, more efficiently, and more effectively than conventional approaches allow.
And that this work is worth continuing—even when it challenges the system it was never designed to fit.
Built outside the system. Proven under pressure.
